I'm Matthew Wall — a product manager, developer, and builder based in Canada.
What I Do
By day, I lead a GTM product team at Uscreen, where I work on payments and checkout infrastructure that processes close to a billion dollars in gross merchandise volume. I've spent years deep in the world of Stripe, PayPal, payment migrations, and conversion optimization — making sure creators and brands can actually get paid, reliably, at scale.
My work sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and business. I'm not just writing specs and handing them off — I code, I dig into data, I prototype, and I push for outcomes. Whether it's reducing checkout failure rates, designing a migration path between payment providers, or helping a creator figure out their go-to-market strategy, I care about the thing actually working.
What I Build
Before Uscreen, and alongside it, I've been hands-on with the full spectrum of product work:
- Payments infrastructure — Stripe Connect integrations, PayPal migrations, checkout funnel optimization
- Creator economy tools — Helping brands and creators launch digital memberships and video-based businesses
- Go-to-market strategy — Working directly with creators on monetization, growth, and long-term sustainability
- Data-driven product decisions — Experimentation, conversion analysis, and metrics-led iteration
Beyond the Day Job
I volunteer my technical skills for the Canadian Future Party, building and maintaining their web presence. I believe in forward-thinking policy and putting product thinking to work for civic causes — not just commercial ones.
The same skills that optimize a checkout funnel can help a political movement communicate more effectively. Building things that matter doesn't stop at the office.
The Short Version
I build products that move money and move people forward. I care about craft, outcomes, and doing work that matters — whether that's for a billion-dollar payments platform or a grassroots political party.
